ST205 Suspension Modifications

The Bilsteins now fitted to the front of my ST205 were previously fitted to my ST165.  The casings used were originally from an AE92 Corolla.  These were simply revalved for the ST165,   however they had to be shortened to fit the ST205. 

The photo below shows the ST165 strut at the bottom (fitted with threaded sleeve for adjustable spring platforms) and a spare (and bent) ST205 strut at the top with the unmodified Bilstein in it.  As can be seen it extends slightly,  but they are easily shortened by a Bilstein agent.  As the strut was bent we shortened them too much and then had to install spacers :-)

The rear Bilsteins off the ST165 have been bolted straight to the ST205.
